they had asked for a letter outlining our group and our requirements for

when a letter from us might help the situation.
Air pollution.
With the high levels of traffic pollution along the
A1184 Ted B has written to the Doctors’ Surgery to enquire if they have any
data on respiratory problem areas of Sawbridgeworth. Ted has also written to
the Press to make the problem more visible to the public. It was pointed out
with the election coming up that prospective candidates for County Council and
Central Government should be contacted with the problem and our solution.
Members suggested that Mouchel never appear to
understand the whole problem and we should approach them as a future speaker.
Other areas of high pollution on a par with the
A1184 are Station Road and Brook Road but they have not been monitored for
pollution, although they have been monitored by an automatic traffic counter
The future change of traffic flow in Bell St has not
taken into account the resultant traffic disruption South of Bell St and the
problems for the Brook Rd/A1184 junction.
