MINUTES OF THE STORT VALLEY PROJECT MEETING

MINUTES :

The minutes of the last meeting were accepted with one correction. In 2 Bridgefoot House, last sentence to read: Members asked if the late Jack Searle’s Sisters had any photographs to record the history. 

1 The Anniversary Agreed actions to progress the evening:

  1. Steve K to finalise mailing list with David T for visitor and exhibitors.
  2. Steve K to write sample letter for above and poster for members.
  3. Monya B to arrange press releases with Lorna S with article in the press week prior to meeting.
  4. John R to arrange setting up prior to meeting and contact BAA.
 
    1. Everybody to note, please bring any relevant material for your own display and to help others to the next meeting. This is particularly important with respect to the general display board where subjects like traffic will be covered.
 

1.2 Liz G took an action to inform David T of 6 items to progress for the next meeting. 

1.3 Sheila M would see if “Ken” had any pictures of the original Luxford Nursery. 

1.4 Monya B asked for copies of correspondence on the Lockkeeper’s Cottage. 

1.5 The presentation photograph and its size was chosen for Wally R to arrange. 

2 We accepted the offer from George Martin EHDC Planning to tell us of his departments latest ideas for Swb and the surrounding area. A date of the 14th April was agreed through Liz G and confirmation of the Council Chamber has been made for 8.00pm. 

3 DNM The date was set for the 10th February but due to the non availability of the Chamber the date is now Tuesday 9th February at 8.00pm in Saysbury Manor.
